Blogger's Forum - Anyone love vans/wagons?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well I run an automotive blog dedicated to vans/wagons/hatchbacks and just about anything out of the ordinary, automotive wise. I have had it up for four months now and am getting great feedback and a decent amount of traffic. Check it out and let me know what you guys think.
thanks

I personally really like the look of the soul, but probably would never rock one. I have a scion xB, the real one, the box; not that suv looking new one. I love the older vans, the vans that started it all. If I could get my hands on one, I wouldn't let go. Little red wagon

We have a first gen XB, too.
We got the first one in Lancaster PA. The dealership made a big deal of it, took
our pictures, etc  You know Lanc. Pa, Im sure...... all farm and Amish.
People would sprain their necks dbl taking when it went by
Little kids point, laff, and make this square sign with their hands, too funny !
Now, years later, its been up and down the East Coast from Maine to FL. a few times
and just keeps running, My Wife will never let it go :)

I like wagons. This is the grey ghost. She's a '78 dodge aspen special edition with cherry red vinyl interior. fits 5 friends, 2 beer coolers, 4 surfboards, and endless fun.

I actually own a 2004 Mazda MPV and I can't imagine driving anything else but a minivan :) Or nothing at all. I may go car-free, but if I don't my next automobile will be a minivan too, preferably with 4 wheel drive, but not SUV.
Seats are removable. I permanently removed the 3rd row. With one middle seat removed there is room for three people, three bikes and lots of luggage. With both middle seats removed I moved bookcases in this thing :)

Some of my earliest memories were of being driven around in a '58 Edsel wagon. Loved wagons and vans ever since. Picked up our first minivan a year ago. The thing is too practical to be believed. Better than a pick-up in 95% of all situations. I still want a classic '70s van. A Chevy van with side pipes, little bowtie windows, Super Scoop on top, and a airbushed hot babe on the side.
The thing is too practical to be believed.
Seriously. With the rear seats removed I slept in it comfortably, enough room for a air mattress, when it was too late or I was too tired to pitch a tent. Sliding side doors, etc. I was so bummed when Mazda dropped the MPV. I was hoping for a 4-wheel drive version with a better sound system :( They say the CX9 is a replacement, but that's a freaking crossover/SUV, its cargo capacity is nowhere near the MPV. They still sell MPV in Japan and it looks badass. There is a rumor they may bring back a hybrid MPV back to USA. The SUV killed the minivan in the USA :(
