Hi all,
I have been considering swapping my surly pacer frame for a casseroll - in order to achieve a higher front end and thereby make the ol back feel better. my reading of the geo charts is that the casseroll will bring me higher than either a LHT or a crosscheck. the only thing that is putting me off was a comment, i think on urbanvelo (firstly in relation to the la cruz, but someone commented that it was an issue on the casseroll too), that some have had heel strike issues on the chain stay. I ride with size 46 shoes, and would be looking at the getting the 55cm frame (since that equates to a 58 or so i gather). anyone had any issues with heel strike, or was that comment off beam? it may have been refering to the smaller sizes. thanks for your assistance!
