Hi I am about to buy a pair of these.. Does anybody use them? Whats your thoughts..?

I have no first hand experience, but for safety reasons I would not put them on my bike, and I would not ride with anyone using them.

Well I think that if you inspect them frequently you shoud be fine. Two of my riding partners have them and do fine.

Hot looking wheels, aero though a tad on the heavy side. Wouldn't trust them unless they were brand new, way too many horror stories.

I heard that when they fail, the blades whip out and either decapitate someone's head or can cut off someone's extremeties.

That's a bit extreme, there are stories of riders loosing knee caps and fingers. I don't know of there validity, but some of the pictures I have seen when they do fail will keep me off the rev-x's.

they look cool, but they're heavier than a set of wheels built with open pros and dura ace... :o
