Picked up a FD from redxj. After he gave me his paypal address, I discovered it was my second time dealing with him. No complaints here.
Thanks Matt,

rccardr -
Aces to deal with, and instrumental in turning my scrap Italian steel into updated audio equipment. Everytime the new sub-woofer makes jelly out of my innards, I'll think of rccardr and the Dancelli.
RobbieTunes -
Again. When I grow up, I wanna be just like him. Without Centurion Syndrome.
Old Fat Guy -
Just for being a top-tier enabler and being so helpful in burning off the fog of ignorance, and for helping me to facilitate turning even more Italian iron into a crackerjack home theatre environment.
Super Bowl party at my house....... :)

I don't think anyone needs me to say Jan Niklojsen is great to deal with, but just in case...A+
+1
Acquired a Dura Ace 7400 crankset from him and it was a work of art.

A big thanks to Ken Kelsay for the sweet Pay-it Forward Suntour freewheel.
Ditto to BigBossMan, FT Welder, Doc Cannondale, Sixty-Fiver and Charles Wahl for the straight-up transactions.
Neal Lerner gets huge Karmic marks for waiting ages for me to complete my end of a transaction with him. Won't happen again Neal.

bumpalong is gonna be bumping along on a Peugeot PGN10 he bought from me. He was great to deal with.
dynne was super-nice as we tried and tried to connect over a Trek 620 frameset... finally ended up shipping it to him and it worked out great.
as if ftwelder needs more positive feedback... here it is.

I also was looking for this thread to mention all the great transactions I have had in the last few months with all the members.
the transaction with rootboy or was it rootbeer? for my Shogun was flawless. the member I purchase a Zefal pump and Universal brake went equally well. one member was nice enough to give me a nice cannondale bag for the cost of postage.
even a new memeber provided a smooth but nerve racking transaction for my new to me beautiful Bertoni 'Crono Olympiad'
thanks to almost all of you for the great buying, selling and swapping that makes this a great place to hangout.
I removed the tex explaining the facilitation gone bad in the Boston area. it has been resolved, and as I predicted it was the holiday rush.
OH there is another member on thin ice with me over a bike I pawned for him

Not that this member needs anymore accolades; but, I'll add one anyway. Having just bought something from Old Fat Guy, I'm suspicious. No human could be that honest in this day-and-age without some sort of angle.

Recently bought a Brooks B17 from ColonelJLloyd. Awesome price for a very nice, new saddle--not to mention timely shipping. Thanks!

Shnibop is tops.
Zandoval is swell.
Michael Angelo is a fair and trustworthy feller and pays/ships faster than I do. That's bloody quick!
jonwvara is a good friend to his friend for whom he bought my Grand Jubile. Now he's a friend of mine.
All treated me kindly and I would overnight them a sandwich if they were hungry.
Mazdaspeed as you already know is a trustworthy cat. Recently did some business with him, as well.
Oregon Southpaw is friend to cyclists everywhere. I enjoy his sheer enthusiasm for cycling.
Applause for them all.

Bought pedals from CV-6, which arrived very quickly.
Slushlover2 has proven to be excellent as well. I'm just about done accumulating parts for the eventual rebuild.

To Holden McNeil,
Thanks for the great transaction! This guy had the thing boxed, bubble taped, shipped, and insured the day after I paypal'd him. He also contacted me to make sure I received the package and to see if everything arrived unscathed.
Thanks for the sweet bike,

My first dealings with 'shnibop', and it was an effortless experience. shnibop must work for Santa during the silly season, or is a world-class origamist. Professionally packaged components. Unlike many of you gorillaz out there. Warning: if you do buy something from shnibop, please allow at least 2 hours for unwrapping.
Just had a great buying experience with shnibop (Alex). Parts were just what I wanted, in terrific shape and packed to hold up under the worst conditions. Thanks Alex.

I'll throw my props in for khatfull also. He had some NOS Wolber rims that were original for my Wheaties/Schwinn Paramount team bike of which Wolber was also a co-sponser. khatful was going to use these for one of his bikes but after I told him that these would make my bike complete he told me they were mine. I didn't even have to beg, whine or even cry. All of which I would have resorted to if need be. He shipped them right away and arrived in perfect shape. The packing was outstanding. Thanks again khatfull you are tops!

I'm also sending some huge props out to Amesja. He sent me an item, which shall remain nameless because of some of the haters here, lol. He sent it to me for the staggering price of FREE! I need it for my winter project and it would have cost me around $50 on ebay. Thanks so much Amesja you rock!!!

A big thumbs up for CV-6 :thumb: I purchased a wheelset from him, and his communication and shipping was great. The wheels well, they are WAY better than he said they were, and I could not be more happy. Thanks again Lynn....:):thumb:

I edited my previous post but since no one looks over old ones I thought I would post this again. the issue in the Boston area has been successfully resolved.
holiday76 was more than patient with my inability to organize payment via the internet and packed the frame and fork very well.

+1 on CV-6
Right back at RobbieTunes. I sent an item on "future consideration" and when I found something (much, much later), even though I think what I asked for was worth more than what I sent, he came through. Refused any compensation and apologized because it took me so long to find something I wanted. Not your fault I don't need much.:thumb::thumb:
If you ever get the chance to deal with afilado I highly recommend it :thumb: He sent me an RD on faith packed well and shipped quickly. Though take any ratings of a components condition should be taken with a grain of salt. The 5 or 6 / 10 he sent me is easily a 7 or 8. Thanks again !

Need to express my gratitude to Road Fan for working out a great deal with me on his (now mine) Woodrup frame set!
Also long overdue is a big thanks to Junkfoodjunkie on a frame set trade made quite a while ago.

Over the past year or so I've had great dealings with the following forum members:
Neal Lerner - several parts swaps, bought back a frame he sold me after I got cold feet over the purchase
rhm - facilitated the CL purchase of my Bike Friday Tandem, and fed me lunch the day I picked it up!
RobE30 - derailleur swap
jimmuller - several parts swaps
beech333 - generously paid it forward to me with a set of tubulars
mkeller234 - gave me a very nice custom-cut mud flap
khatfull - gave me a very nice RD (secret santa), other transactions gone well
bikemore - sold me a RD
due route - gave me a MAFAC brake caliper
All stand-up forum members. :thumb:
Forgive me if I may be forgetting some others.

Jan Nikolajsen broke away and held on for the stage win in the race for my acorn bag. He deserves all the hugs from podium girls he can get. In other words, recommended buyer.

I'm noticing a theme about Jan...
I'll add to the chorus...I bought a Brooks saddle bag from him and condition was fantastic. It also arrived Monday when I sent him money on Friday?!? Apparently the normal rules of shipping do not apply.
I also had a very positive experience with Septacycles...as described, well packed and fast shipping.
