apparently I suck. I've sent things for free to people, sold things for good deals and shipped it the same or next day, and generally had great dealings with people on BF multiple times, yet I rarely get mentioned here.
There, I said it. I feel better now.
Thank you.
I know how you feel (just one or two cases such as yours). But don't take it personally - I think this thread is still getting traction; I know I brought it to some members' attention because they'd never known it existed :)

JonWVara and Mapleleafs-13 are great buyers! :)
I'm probably one of the slackers for not commenting - but then I don't buy a lot on here.
I will say I've gotten some nice things free or in trade and need to send out some kudos to Roger M (complete Peugeot hybrid and a Univega Supra Sport frame and brakes for my son, Look Delta pedals, and some freezer jam!!), Bianchigirl for some DiaCompe levers, Chris W. for a seat post for the Univega and offering a Simplex front derailleur for my Peugeot build and Sixty Fiver's offer of Simplex Prestige derailleurs if I want to go original and French thread freewheel.
Those are the ones I can remember for now.

Thanks to Roger M for the free pair of Mathauser pads to complete my set - and my project; arrived in only one day, too!

I purchased a frame from SJPitts this week and couldn't have been happier with the transaction. Item was exactly as described, shipment was very fast and the frame was packed with great care. Would highly recommend to anyone.

irvri is great. My wheels are just what I needed.
Just tell him to doublecheck his delivery instructions when he's at the depot ;)

I've a lot of great transactions recently.
Roger M: He communicates well and is a friendly fellow bike enthusiast eager to help out.
Robbie Tunes: He came through for me on the quick. Thanks!
That guy Zach: He ships as fast as I do. Thanks, dude!
Holiday76: I purchased a frameset from him recently and in the box were some extra items including a load of Philly soft pretzels and hot mustard. What a guy!
23skidoo: Easy transaction. Recommended.
JunkyardBike: A curmudgeon if there ever was one, but the parts showed up and I'll be damned if I could find a single flaw in any of his emails.
fender1: He's a sweet, sweet man. Don't ever change, buddy!

I should have posted here a hundred times... everybody I've dealt with on this forum has been great.
Recently, I bought a Merckx from cpsqlrwn, It was packed very well and I received it promptly. It was missing one of the upper cable stops for the Delta brakes and he went way out of his way to track down and buy a new one for me. Highly recommend buying/selling from/to him.
irvri - bought a frame from him too recently and it was packed well and he was great to deal with too.
RobbieTunes - goes without saying I'm sure, great guy to deal with. Same goes for 23skidoo...seems whenever I find a frameset that is way too tall for me I end up shipping it out to Nebraska.

I should probably note this in the "Where'd you ride today?" thread, too:
A huge THANK YOU to Roger M for the Campagnolo poster to commemorate the 1980 Moscow Olympics. He brought it to Snohomish and gave it to me prior to our ride Sunday; how cool is that?
I think I have a way to pay back for this and the free Mathauser brake pads :)
Thanks again, Rog!

Shnibop is RIDICULOUSLY generous and he somehow convinced the USPS to ship a box to me that arrived in 2 days flat.
Henry III likewise is a great seller and ships fast. His T shirt is super cool. Not sure why he threw in a business card for a reusable "women's product"... Do I seem like it's my time of the month??? ;)

I hope the contents were supposed to be 2-dimensional. Otherwise it might have been better had the shipping taken a bit longer. :)

I finally remember trading with -holiday76, now that I know his real name.
I'd even buy from him on eBay.

Cyclotoine: good stuff. Coffee-shop local meetup on Main much appreciated, nice pedals, just the thing for my purposes, and a pantographed 'Petta' black 3T stem w/matching bars - definitely going to be nice on SOMETHING once I figure out what to do with it...

Special thanks to Stausty for the great trade for the green Paramount, and many apologies and "thank you's" to Triathloner's understanding of the USPS's apparent loss of four pieces of bicycle-related mail to my house - which happened to include his money order for a pair of shifters. I can't apologize enough for the inconvenience.
Also, props to:

USPS loss?? How strange !!
I bought a frame off of balindamood and got it in the other day. It was packaged very well, sent quickly and will make a great bike. Can't give one complaint. Thanks!

Just received a couple nice Cyclone FDs from Michael Angelo, every bit as nice as the 'NOS' would indicate. Very well-packed and much appreciated.
Just received my parts from stevenc and would like to give a big thank you. Parts were shipped from Belgium to Canada which was a bit of an issue but communication to Steve was great and straightforward and was a very successful transaction. Parts arrived within a week of purchase.

USPS loss?? How strange !!
To be quite exact, four envelopes disappeared about the same time. One MO from BF, two from the CR list, and that saddle rail. Triathloner tells me that the MO wasn't cashed, so theft isn't likely.
We'll see if they wind up returned to sender or not.
In other news, a great big :thumb: to 23skidoo!

You know, I'm horrible about posting here. I've dealt with so many of you and every experience has been the absolute best. I've bought from you, sold to you, and traded with you...one and all have been A#1
I resolve to post feedback here from now on. I could go through old e-mails and PMs but it would take days and I wouldn't want to leave someone out.
Thanks for listening...
I'll add more thumbs up for Khatfull and Southpawboston. Both delivered exactly what I needed.

I've known southpawboston online for years, before I ever joined BF, from a car forum. He's always been first class in sales, trades, and other dealings.

norskagent has been helping me for a while....
I do a lot of trading with drrobwave.
We try to rip each other off, but somehow lack the instinct, 'cause we're still trading.
There are several new folks I've dealt with, and it's all good.
Thumbs up for RRotello - got a set of STI levers from him, very well packed and in good condition.

Another big "thanks" to humanreisberg - a new member - for the lovely Olympia-pantographed chainring I got in the mail today.
I know him from Flickr, where he contacted me after seeing pics of my Spinella/Olympia. He found this ring and thought of me. We worked out a super price, but he insisted I wait on paying until it arrived safely. A damned fine man.
Thanks :)
