Hello,

I have been told that older tyres were made of a compound that made them squeal when you locked up the weel or spun it. Is it possible to still get tyres like this (new)? I would stick these on my training wheels (when I get some that is). Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I like to make noise. Also if they didn't have loads of grip, that would be even better :p

:D :D

Thanks,

Sam.

Just ride fast, brake hard and replace a lot of tires...

Skip tires and tubes. Just ride on the rims. That would seem to meet your needs for noise and poor traction.

They did make a slick tire for the old stingray bikes of the 60's that did indeed have something in the compound that would make the tire squeal when us kids stomped on the coaster brakes. But I don't believe that kind of tire is made anymore.
