For a stock 2008 S22, suggested retail is $2000. Does anyone know what they generally go for in a LBS? Also, what would be a good price used for one season, in good condition?

I tried searching for them awhile ago scouring ebay for months looking for the right size and a decent price. I found that many of them were left over stock with a minimum between 1500 and 1700. I really wanted a felt as my two road bikes are felt but i ended up going with a Pedal Force TT2.

FWIW the two events I have had here in VA (I am in fairfax) I have seen quite a few S22's so I imagine they are a damn good value.

I bought an S22 there last year, I don't see many others around here. You should be able to negotiate no matter where you go since 08 was the last year for this model.

Thanks. A guy was selling a stock one locally for $1250.00, but it was actually a 2007, not the 2008 that he claimed, and once he posted pictures it looked like it had more wear than he was claiming.

The original photo in his Craigslist ad showed a stock photo of the red/white 2008, but once his pics were on flickr, it was the gray/yellow 2007.
