Folding Bikes - Jetstream XP tackles the trails of Arizona: 5 wks & 500 mi of desert mountain biking

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello again!

It's been a while, but I've posted a couple of new ride reports that you guys will probably enjoy. I'd cross post them here but they're very picture-heavy and this forum only allows a few images per post (which gets real tedious to work around) so I'm going to just link to the mtbr forum posts. Anyway...

The first post is about my toughest mountain bike ride yet, a day-long monster called the Quadruple Bypass, that tallies up some 7000 feet of climbing over four steep, rocky passes around an almost 40 mile loop. Click below:

Quadruple Bypass: A good ride on 20-inch wheels? Only one way to find out... (http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=501481)

The second post covers all the other rides I did during the month we spent in the Phoenix area, enjoying the warm wintertime temps and challenging trails the area's known for. Click below:

Recapping Rollin' Phoenix's Finest on my Folding 20er (http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=512881)

For full effect, you'll want to click and read the reports above, but I've excerpted 10 pics below to whet your appetite, and also, here's a direct link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqcsg09SQ_I) to the youtube video of me "Downhillin' the Dahon" discussed therein. One more post will eventually appear to complete my "Arizona Trilogy", but in the meantime I hope y'all enjoy the two write-ups above, and everybody's having a good time out there!

Cheers,
Carey
