This is the first fork I have ever worked on so forgive my ignorance. I am replacing the elastimer springs with coils on a 1993 judy xc fork. I Clean out all the mashed up rubber and installed the new coils coated in grease. The question I have is I where do I fill dampaning oil and how much oil? If any one can help me out that would be great.

Thanks

Somebody more knowledgeable PLEASE correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think this fork uses an oil bath or dampener at all. In other words- it does not use oil.

The Judy wasn't available until the 1995 model year.

Here's the service manual: http://biketrail.318.nu/mek/manual/pdf/judyserv96.pdf

This fork is on a used GT Zaskar that I was told was a 1993. I dont realy know what year the bike is or if the fork was replaced.
