Which Polar HRM watch is best for a cyclist on a budget? My budget has some flexibility, but I don't want to pay for features I don't need. Which features are, "must have" and which aren't? Looking for something with an intuitive menu ((my last HRM(not Polar)died and I needed to refer back to the manual constantly.)). I'm happy with my bike computers, so I'm only looking at the watch model HRM's

The main functions that you need to train with a hrm are Current HR, Max HR and Average HR. Many of the heart rate monitors on the market can do this.

The most versatile is the Polar RS200. I would stay away from the F series because they lack stopwatch functions. My wife has one and she loves it. A year after she got it she got herself a Polar CS100b bike computer and her strap works with that so she only needs one computer/HRM for either running or cycling.
