I was wondering if anyone would like to post their riding picture?
I am interested in seeing what bike people have, what gear they wear and the places people ride, (perferably in motion)
Just a thought, its nice to see pics of the bikes but I thik its better to see them in motion. (I will post mine when I get some this week)

Nice picture... nice bike. Too bad the photographe didn't pan the shot with a slower shutterspeed to capture the sense of speed.

You can find many of my cycling pictures in the cycling section of my photo gallery (http://www.neebu.net/~khuon/gallery/cycling). Just click on the subalbums to navigate into them. There are also pictures of ngateguy and xythen who I ride with a lot. Not too many of me though since I'm usually the one taking the pictures.

Here's an over-the-shoulder shot of them from our last ride on Whidbey Island.

Amateur photography is another hobby of mine so I was disappointed too that there was no spoke blur as I was cruising pretty good. Since there is no second chance for these guys to get a picture right and every time they would blow a pan there is no chance for a sale I'd guess they shoot as high a shutter speed as possible.

Some people like to bash others who ride bikes that may be a little out of their riding league, I like the fact that as I continually improve there is nothing I can ask of this bike that it can't do. To put it simply, while I love a lot of other bikes, both Italian and American bred, my next bike will be a Pinarello!

I'm coming off a 40mph descent and I'm as aero as pudgy (20 lbs to go...) me can get. I find that for my body shape, the most aero position I can get is with my back as flat as possible, meaning my butt up and my torso as forward as I dare. I used to be able to get my chest on the bar, but now with the aero-bar I loose a couple inches due to the forearm braces. Have to be cafeful though, I hit a bump once and caught the bridge of the bar in the teeth! Your right, this position isn't terribly comfortable, but it is good for about 3 to 4mph over 40 for me.

I am on the right. It’s during a race, about 7th time up that hill, I was about to die. There is a chase group right in front of me and some stragglers off down the hill.

Great shot, the effort is clearly conveyed!

Here's a photo of me and my girl taken this morning half-way out on a 44-mile ride (her longest so far). There's no feeling of speed in this shot as we were just cresting a long roller and were only doing about 6mph, which made it easy on the photographer. You can see she's having fun, though, and that's what I'm really after these days. I'm afraid my go-fast rides are 15-20 years in the past, as my pitifully bulging belly attests to...

What a suprise to see the twin windmill area at Foxen and Alisos Canyons. I ride that almost every week and love it. The ride is so much better since they paved certain sections. A whole lotta centuries go through this area and use those roads. A lotta people just ride without century rides and you wouldn't believe how many (lying) cyclist have "raced" Lance and the boys over that road. It seems that the training camp in Buellton spawns a lot of sightings and stories.
Yes, I got all this out of your one photo. Thanks.

Yep. It's the east side of West Mountain, in case others didn't recognise the terrain. First time I've ridden it in about 15 years. We sure had fun, but I forgot the sunscreen on myself and got rather burned; my girl was fine (since Mom was responsible for her sun lotion, you understand...).
