Awhile back I got on the cheap a Fuji Monterey bike that someone had made modifications to at one point. They had tried to fit on some smaller wheels (presumably from a Schwinn of some sort) and in the process replaced the rear derailer and original center pull brakes.
I had picked up a nice set of 700C wheels with Araya W1 rims and some Dia Compe extended reach center pulls to make the 700C wheels work well (the original wheels would have been 27"). I also found an original derailer (Suntour AR).
Now I think I do not want to invest the time into the project as I have other things going on. I was going to sell the whole shebang as a group thing but now I think it might be best jsut to part out the frame and wheelset.
The Fuji Monterey frame is Butted Valite 414. The paint is in decent shape. I would include the handlebars (Nitto B111), shifters and derailers but not the saddle as it was unoriginal anyway.
Any idea what to ask or what that might me worth? Perhaps I should not include the bars and shifters as it might be tempting for someone to convert to single speed?
Thanks in advance for the help!
