I hope you guys can help me. I was considering buying this Commuter. Since its frame from a good name I was hoping it is worth what is being asked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Kinda high for a Frankenbike.

If you monitor your local Craigs List and maybe a couple of others if you are willing to drive, you will find something better in a few weeks.

I have a Miyata 610 tourer in the same size (54) that I am finishing up this afternoon to put on craigslist. The bike is original, (excellent condition) even includes a rack, and will have new tires, bartape, etc. for 200. Not sure where you are in NC, so I'm not sure if this is any help to you, I'm in High Point.

I am in Raleigh.

Just looking for a commuter but don't have enough for an LBS bike. I figured I could get a decent used bike if I watched the net close enough. Any help and suggestions would be a big help.

I don't think that 610 will last long.

Its a 721a. Aluminum main tubes with bonded lugged construction. Chromoly fork with chromoly rear stays.

Back in September I sold one for $300.....it was mint.

The 721a is beast described as a sport touring bike. Its has sport bike geometry with a triple crank and eyelets for racks and fenders. The one in the CL ad has alot of extra and appears to be well ridden. Does the pwner have the original bars and levers?

Thanks for the help, I will pass on the 721a here since it doesn't look near a good as the one you had there. I do like the looks of Kevin's 610, not sure if I could get to greensboro before it is snatched up though. You guys were a big help though so thanks again.

give me a call at the number in the ad, I would rather see it go to someone on here who would appreciate it (if it fit me, I definitely wouldn't be selling this one).
