Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

In case you were busy or were just a plain lazy-assed slob who woudln't get up at 4:30 to take the 5:30 start time. I was hung over after tying one on at 165's party and had little more than 3.5 hours of sleep and got up at the crack of dawn's rosy ass, sucked down a water and headed out. The morning was zen-like in it's calmness and lulling almost non-existent traffic. Bike's began to build up mass the closer I got downtown and all kids of people where there. I think there were even some homeless folks joining in gratis. A regae band was pumpin' out some joy upon our return and there were lots of energy rations; let's just say that won't be buying a cliff bar for at least a month. It was a great ride, despite a little drizzle. All Chicagoans should give it a try, at least once. I may even volunteer next year.

Sorry, didn't bring my camera because it was raining.
However, we did need more fixies to represent!! I only saw like three or four.

You gotta pay to ride on a public street?

Yup. Note that it isn't exactly an option to bike it any other day of the year.

I actually prefer the BLT...Chinatown dim sum!
Hell, I've been thinking about dim sum rides lately. But everytime someone plans a ride, everyone has elective surgery or Ikebana classes...meow

If you'll tolerate knobby tires in your midst, I'll join you for a dim sum ride some time.
