I wanted to get a cage that not only looked cool but was light, strong, and would never lose a bottle. The Specialized Ribcage Pro did just that. Very light and easy to work with. Holds a bottle better than some carbon bottle holders and is equally as light. It comes in 4 colors, Red, black, white and blue.

Price: 4.5 out of 5
Durability: 5 out of 5
Weight: 4.5 out of 5
Appearance: 5 out of 5

Overall: 4.75 out of 5

I would definitely recommend this to others! (Works well with cage clamps, however you will need to find slightly longer screws as the ones that came with my clamp was a little short for this cage's width.)

I just purchased 2 of these for one of my road bikes. I replaced Profile Stryke cages that had spit bottles on numerous occassions, including on the first lap of a 50 minute race last week, leaving me with no hydration.

During my race yesterday, these Specialized cages held strong over chip seal and bridge expansion joints, where I know my old Stryke's would have spit out bottles. So far so good.

Fat tires, CamelBak. Got it?

Just kidding. Specialized started out in the 70's with Mike Sinyard importing components, then eventually making his own line. He also brought us the first mass-production MTB, but that was really just a design appropriated from Tom Ritchey.
