i've picked up an old alan cyclocross frame that has a guerciotti stick on the head tube, not surprising, but also has sintesi (brand) and vertigo (model) stickers on it. (sintesi now has a vertigo road bike i've seen pictures of.)
I'm very familiar with the alan/guerciotti cyclocross models in the 80's and early 90's. but i'm not familiar with sintesi at all. anyone know the story and approximate year of this? or did someone just sticker up an older frame with their favorite brand? sintesi's website seems to indicate the company is only from 1991?
it's the old alum lugs and tubes, flattened top tube and semi-horizontal drops with tensioners.
thanks for the help!
