Is a teenager that has to explain to daddy why his new dark gray Dodge Ram SUV has a big frickin' dent (from a flung full water bottle) in the right side quarter panel.
Just sayin....... :innocent:
(Of course, you know her explanation will be a sob story of some crazy guy on a bike randomly throwing ****.)

Doesn't say much about the structural integrity of the truck if a water bottle puts a big dent in it!
I'm sure he deserved it..........

Oh Daddy, I'm so glad to home and safe again (sob sob sob) I love you daddy. You were right. It is dangerous out there. I was driving carefully just like you taught me, and suddenly a homeless man went crazy right in front of me.
The only thing that saved me was the giant super safe SUV you bought me when I got my learners permit.
Oh Daddy (sob sob sob)
Oh, I think he might have thrown a bunch of beer cans in the back seat too.
I feel awful. I think I'll go to the movies. Can I have $50. Oh, can i drive the BMW? That dent is just too embarrassing.

A full water-bottle weighs just shy of 2lbs. If it achieves a maximun velocity of, say, 20mph and hits butt-first on the unsupported thin sheet metal in the middle of the quarterpanel.....
Well - let's just say I wouldn't want to get hit by one.
Oh yeah...... he earned it. He really worked hard for it.

Screw him & Daddy's car... just glad nothing happened to you.
I got hit by a kid in Daddy's new Jeep in a parking lot & dropped my six pack(only injury) I made the kid buy me a new sixer, the most dissapointing thing though was I made him shake my hand & assured him I was OK- and he shook my hand like a ten year old girl.Ya he was scared, but jeez.
be a man, shake my hand firmly, look me in the eye & say sorry.

How's your pitching arm?
I like how you guys assumed it was Daddy's daughter who borrowed the SUV.
Yes, I know, not too many boys call their fathers "Daddy". Past first grade, anyhow. :D
Very glad you're unscathed, BBM. The SUV, eh, notsomuch.

I'm perversely enjoying this thread. We see this all too often and wish there was a lasting recourse...I'll take the dent and celebrate that you're OK.

What is it with you, teenagers and beverages anyway?
I have been riding with you twice when you were on the receiving end of a beverage hucked at you by some scuffling scruffy teenage types. Once it was a Starbucks of some kind and once a milk shake. Different days, different towns but the theme persists: beverages, teenagers and the biggbossman. Weird.
I think we must be dealing with some past life issues here.
You need some hypnosis regression to explain this beverage aggression obsession.

Have you seen the size of BBM's water bottles?? He might as well be throwing a fire extinguisher. :D

If he worked for it, then he can enjoy the fruits of his labor.

I heard the story from the BossMan hisself. Saying these pair o' clods "worked hard" for what they got is a gross understatement.
I wish I could have been there to hear Junior and his moron sidekick explain the dent to Dear Ol' Dad. I bet that was a classic.
