After 6 weeks off the bike with a fractured tibia, I made my first attempt @ a road ride today. The conditions were fantastic, as it was about 65 degrees with not a cloud in the sky. Nobody tried to run me down, and one guy actually gave me a "thumbs up" sign! I only did 26 miles, as I'm still nursing this injury (the fracture was right @ the joint), but it was simply amazing!

I'm finally back, and it felt soooooooooooooooooooooo damn good. I can't wait to get out and ride tomorrow!!!!!! I just had to share this feeling with my peeps. :D

That's great news. I hope you keep progressing.

I broke my Tibia & Fibula right below the knee from a motor cycle accident, after 6 weeks in hospital & 3 months PT I was then opened to the world of cycling and never looked back.
Take it steady and keep riding. Congrats

By the way, how did you injure tibia?
