Utility Cycling - Hauling the Big Dummy

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Baby spotted turtle crossed my path. The 1" hitch with 2' adaptor sleeve.

Xtracycle sells that Rocky Mounts long tray for $89. It will fit Thule and Yakima crossbars.

It's really just the long tray which makes it work. Notice my Planet Bike Cascadia front fender with the big old flap does not clear. If you have cages on your pedals make sure you move them out of the way so they don't rub a raw spot the roof of your car. I hook mine behind the crossbar.
