Mountain Biking - I have found my XC weapon for this summer

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Ssssshhhhhh!

I guess it is the same frame as the Hummer bike - - which started as the Montague Paratrooper (http://www.militarybikes.com/), a bike actually designed for the military. Interesting too that it bristles with name-brand components, amazingly.

I would never own one; but for a long-range commuter, it's something that could actually probably get me to work all the way from home without having to leave at 4 am every day ;).

Not brakes, zeo_max - - front 'hub' holds the battery pack; rear hub holds the motor. They did it to balance it and keep the CG low.

There is a line above which it is more economical to simply get a scooter.

What? they're just simple V-brakes. If you're referring to the hubs, the front is a battery, the rear is hub motor.

I dunno Dm, looks like you may have some other electric competition... for those who have a measly $13,000 to spare.
