last chance for romance! historically, there have been lotsa fireworks (pompeii/herculaneum)
here and hoping for more of the same.
Di Luca will have to go for it, Pellizotti and Basso as well.
I have to go with Sastre for the win on Vesuvio... but he'll need to leave it all out there.
This is going to be goooooooood. :thumb:

Garzelli wants a stage win, and has been consistently climbing as well as anyone. I'm gong with the old guy on this one.
fwiw - I think stage 20's profile looks ideal for Di Luca

I tip that the race will explode somewhere on the final climb

menchov & di luca will likely shadow each other until the final 300 meters. sastre, garzelli &
pellizotti have a little more freedom or wiggle room and it's likely one of these 3 will win the stage.
basso should pull a popovych and go out on the attack early on the vesuvio to free up pellizotti. you
just know di luca is going to attack menchov multiple times-my over/under is five.

Things could really erupt. The riders are sure to be in a lava.
