My son and I are riding from Astoria, Oregon to Ocean City, Maryland beginning June 2010. We are doing this ride for three reasons. Our initial reason is to raise some money for cancer research. My father passed away March 16, 2007 from Anal Rectal Melanoma. We have put a twist on our trip that is sure to astonish many. We will leave Astoria, Oregon with only $100 in our pockets and rely completely on our faith in God to provide our daily needs through the individuals we meet on our trip. The third reason, this trip will be a wonderful bonding adventure between a father and a son.
