No idea about this bike. It looks like a middle of the road bike, possible around the same as World Sport or something along those lines? Said its in alright shape. Price sounds pretty good. Can anyone tell me more about the model, components, etc.? She is e-mailing me a few more pictures I believe so i'll throw them on.
Thanks,

here are the pictures she just send me. I am sure I could get it for 50, if not 40. It would either be a flip, or a fixed conversion in a month or 2 for myself. What does everyone think?

Well, it's a low end cottered crank probably not chromoly steel framed bike. Granted Takara is a good name, but this is an older entry level model.
If you're thinking fixie, the paint looks good and it's a nice color. If you can get if for $40, I'd go for it and fixie convert. I'd approach this like I was buying the frame and the rest of the parts are along for the ride.
As a flipper, if you had alloy cotterless cranks, even low end stuff hanging around, maybe, but bikes like this tend to be heavy. I don't see it bringing big bucks on a flip unless you've got the cranks for it and if it has alloy rims. Chromed rims are one more negative.
