DAMN - I go out looking for a fork that I can run a front brake with, and they tell me put clipless pedals on and skid, I probably won't ever find a fork that's the right size.

They didn't have any large pedals like I wanted in stock, so I hit a bar then another bike shop. Got a set of crank brothers mallets and a cheap pair of shimano shoes. Hit another bar. Read the instructions and put the cleats on the shoes and could get them to clip in while I was sitting there....

Got home after happy hour (was a great really fast ride) and got down to business. Pulled the old BMX platforms off, put the new pedals on (think I partially stripped the threads on one crank) and couldn't clip in. Got pissed, tried over and over, eventually gave up and passed out.

Now I've woke up, can clip in on one side (amazingly the side I thought I stripped) but not the other. Got grease all over me and a massive hangover.

Moral of the story : Beer after bike upgrades, not before or during.

OK, off to figure out how to use these weird clipless pedals so I can go out and ride.

Now you can practice your Michael Jackson, moon walk, break dancing moves, with your duck walk clip-less pedal shoes just like the roadies do.

The shoes are more MTB style - before I was wearing Caterpillar steel toed work boots.

Thinking I might want to go back to them.

WTF don't they make forks that would fit my bike that can have brakes? It's not like I 'need' them, but I've been going a lot faster lately and had a couple of close calls. Figure I either need the panic brake or clipless and these damn stupid things are annoying the hell out of me.

It started raining outside, so I probably wouldn't be out riding anyways :(=

Confucius say: He who get drunk and then work on bike punish himself.
