Northern California - "I Care Classic" - Morgan Hill 5/16, anyone?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi I just found out about this event from my weekly active.com spam mailout
http://www.icareclassic.org/index.shtml
Anybody planning on riding it this year, or done it in the past and can share your experience w/ how it's run? I've never heard of the event before, but it's right in my backyard and covers the same ground as the tierra bella ride we missed out on.
EDIT Ack that's 5/16, not 5/19 - Upside down dyslexia!
Hmm, looks like the Foothill (Metric) Century is that Sunday too.
For those of us not quite up to davis...

Conflicts with Davis Double that weekend.
I'm doing a super slowpoke ride with my wife and her friends on the short/flat 20+ mile ride.
And by super slowpoke I mean: 4+ hours to finish 26 miles last year. So I expect about the same since the wife and her friends don't ride regularly. But oh well... I'm trying to get them interested in cycling so I can deal with it. :)
Oh, to answer your question... I thought it was well run and the route was nice. Although we hit some good headwinds coming back. The bbq lunch at the end was pretty good too! This will be the third year in a row I've down the [slowpoke] ride. ;)

Just registered for the century. I'm not up for a double just yet, and the start point is all of twenty minutes from my house. Anyone else doing the full ride?
