Columbus has two new (2009) monocoque carbon fiber frames, one is called "SL Carbon" (unidirectional) and the other is "SLX Carbon" (HMK T 700 fibre). In announcing these frames, Columbus says that the legendary SL and SLX molybdenum chrome tube sets give their names to these new frames. If I may say so, I don't think they qualify as C&V. :D
I'm not sure if this is what you're asking about since these are CF frames, not tube sets.

There is a new Columbus SL steel:
However, I believe the OP is referring to tubing decals that say 'SLX NEW' on them. I've sen them, and am not sure if it denotes the new formula (Nivachrom) steel, or what. I'm sure one of the experts will chime in eventually.
