I picked up two bikes today a tease 10 speed and a schwinn 10 speed. I can't find any info on the tease. the frame says made in japan. It has center pull Shimano Dura ace brakes. Shimano derailers lark ss on the back and a thunder bird on the front. It has a freaky looking gear shifters. that look like round things on the top of them . they say stem shifters 333. the brake pull leavers are shimano. I will upload a photo later. but I was wondering if anyone ever heard of a tease road bike.
I paid 15 dollars each. they both look like someone put new tires on them then never used them after the new tires. the tires still have the extra rubber nubs and seem rubber in the middle of the treed that normaly wears off very fast.

I have a Shimano Lark on an old Sears/Made in Austria bike. According to DisraeliGears (http://www.disraeligears.co.uk/) it dates back to about 69-70. Sounds like a neat bike.

I just got my dad's old 10 speed. It is a "Tease" as well. It is red, center shift, aluminum crank arms, chrome rims. Ram handlebars. I can't find any info on this bike either. I would not mind fixing it up some to make it more road worthy but do not know if it is worth the cash or effort. I would say it is 30-35 years old at least. She seems fast on the road. Still has the gum sidewalls on her, HA!
Let me know if you have found out anything.
Thanks

Jason's last post was May. You need to send him a PM, but I am not sure he is active anymore.

I knew a tease once, but I've only ridden a Schwinn.

I am around. I just been looking at post. I ended up stripping the bike for parts. it has a lot of rust. could of been sanded down and repainted but I was thinking it was a cheap bike.
