Hey all,

Recently I've been looking into buying a few sets of tufo tires and came across this website. I was just wondering if any of you have dealt with this company and if so what kind of experiences you've had. If not, does anyone have a good source to buy tufo's at a good price?

Thanks in advance,
Jon

Those prices are good. I paid $10 more per tire for my S-3 LITE 215 Tubulars and I wasn't upset with what I paid.

They look as legit as any other online tire dealer and have a phone number which is a nice bonus. I'd give them a call.

Cheers

For those who have used tubulars, how do you like tubeless tires? How do you address flats while out on the road?

I read some of the literature re tubulars on tufotires.com web page and the 'tire to rim' attachment methodology is intriguing and looks to be structurally sound. What are the draw backs of going with tubulars?

I love the ride of tubulars but do not train on them ever. My tubulars are Tufos (with sealant) mounted on Zipp 303s and race only wheels. Although I've never had a blow-out, I always have a spare wheelset in the wheel pit or in a wheel car.

Just thought I'd post my personal experience with dealing with Tufo North America... They're GREAT! I had a tufo tire that lost all of its air where the valve stem meets the casing. I contacted Tufo North America via email. Their (quick) response was to send the tire in to them to be inspected.

After they got my tire, it was indeed a manufacturing defect, and they quickly let me know this by sending me an email, and that a new tire was on the way.

In all, they obviously try to stand behind their products, and made sure that they took care of me. I already liked their tires, and now I like the company as well!

I've ridden a friend's bike who uses Tufo's and he swears by them. I enjoyed the ride a lot and plan to switch my bike's tires over to Tufo's as soon as my current set wear out.

Glads to see the Tufo catcging on. I switch over last summer and have not looked back.
As for the tubulars, I used to ride them all the time. I would buy cheap one for training and better ones to race. I always had a pre glued one with me if I flated. I have given up racing and so went the tubulars. The Tufo are the closest thing that I have come across.
