Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It's a tight crit course, lots of fun. I'm looking forward to getting my head handed to me by the CRASH 5's this weekend. Who else is up for a weekend race?

I work Saturdays; not because I have to, but because we're shorthanded at the shop on the busiest day and I make a crapload of money.

Sweet. I'll be the big guy in the blue jersey with a blue Trek with blue tires.

It's not commish, it's a flat rate that goes with the bike. $x for selling an adult bike, plus $y for a package and whatever accessories I sell with it.
$z if the bike meets and exceeds a certain pricepoint.

Curtis,
I've done the first two RATL's this year and three last year. Great racing on the closed course, nice smooth roads with the right amount of elevation changes.
The turns at RATL are not that tight if you stay relaxed and follow other's wheels thru the turns. If you are interested, we have a group that rides crit training in a cemetery every Thursday evening in preperation for those type of races. Last week our group had 7 riders, and for the 1 hour steady ride the average speed was 20.8 mph ave. It's not a hammer fest since most of the guys intend to be racing in two days and don't want tired legs for the weekend. We leave the parking lot (you have been there before) at 6:00 PM and ride out to the Memorial Gardens.
I stopped by the race last Saturday while out for a little ride. I couldn't believe how many people were there! Having grown up in the area, it was great to see a good cycling activity in the old 'hood.
I rode with the Summit Freewheelers out of Botzum parking area in the Valley on Thursday night last week. A really good ride, quick ride. And a good way to stretch my legs after driving all day from NJ. :thumb:
