many subforum pages and most long threads still take f o r e v e r to load. just saying'

Can you give me some examples of some pages that consistently load slow?

the whole foo subforum consistently opens very slowly, and the 'word association thread' inside foo has already been closed by a mod due to extreme slowness, the 'song name game' thread in foo is also extremely slow.

The longer the thread, the slower the load time, randya. We may have to look at an upper limit on thread size before closiing one and starting a new one.

load times got significantly longer in the last week or so, the threads haven't grown that much in that time
