So I have an older gentleman who goes to garage sales frequently and hes looking for bikes for me. He just wants to make a little money on them, which works out for me. Anyhow, he picked up a "Volks Mark 5" bicycle. My dad briefly looked at it and I am going to take a look at it tomorrow. What the heck is this brand? Any info would be great. My dad said its orange in color with drop bars and he said its pretty big for a womens bike. Said its in pretty good shape.

My guess would be it is from Germany, or other German speaking country. Volks= people. Bicycle, in German, is Fahrrad. Maybe search online

OK, well does anyone have any other information about this bike? I have searched online for a few and did not find anything.

Here are some pics. I posted on CL Portland for $80. But I think I would come down to $60 lol. Only paid $10 for it. What do you all think? It has cottered cranks and Simano Tourney braking.
