I just sold my crappy Korean Lespo and upgraded to a Dahon Speed P8 for 760,000.00 Korean Won. I paid a little much but, it is the '09 model. I wanted the Jetstream but it was way out of my price range. Anyway, here's the question... Can I take this Speed P8 and upgrade it with Dahon Kinetix Pro wheels and put a new double sproket crank on to make it a 16 speed? I like it how it is but i need more top speed. I have to keep up with friends on road bikes, I usually ride around 21-22 KPH but these guys run off and leave me everyday. I figure if I can shed a few pounds off the bike and add a few gears to increase the efficiency maybe I could keep up. Any suggestions? Comments? Pointers? I'm still really new and I will appreciate ANY help. Thank you!

You might get some good replies here, but you also should post your question on the Dahon forum (on the Dahon website). Good luck!

They are basically the same frame so you should be able to get skinnier tires, different gearing, etc.
