Hello everybody.
I have been reading this forum for quite a while (2 years) but this time I need some answers from you guys.
Today I managed to do a 120 km(almost 80 miles )tour with my Dahon Vitesse D7HG folder.
Strange enough my longest tour on the non-folding bike was 110 km so I guess I pushed myself and the bike to the limits.
At the end of the tour(last 3 km quess I was lucky) I started to encounter some problems with the right pedal, it's axle became mobile(going in all directions and creaking with each push) so I think I need to replace both pedals.
Can I replace the pedals with any other bike pedals or are they Dahon specific ? Don't need them to fold .. just to hold for 100 km's ride.
Also where can I find 20'' rims and hubs (dynamo). (My front rim is bent due to a car crash , not related to the bike quality). I live in Romania (Bucharest) so if you guys can recommend me some online shops that would be great.
I am a bit disapointed since the bike is almost new (780 km total and 8 months old) ,but I am overweight(about 250 lbs) and doing 120 km on a folder built for the city (including a Shimano Nexus 7)is a bit too much for this bike.
I have no experience with Dahon or folding bikes (this is my 1st) and in my country few people use folding bikes for transportation/touring that is why I am posting here.
