I forgot I snapped this picture last weekend when I was at the flea market in Waldo. I'm not sure what it is.... but it looked kind of cool....

That looks exactly like one of Kenny P's first Freakbike creations. Really.
I dont know how it would have gotten up there though.

Waldo looks pretty cool for Florida. Is it a nice place to ride ?

Isn't Waldo the place where the major income for the city is issuing speeding tickets

Yes, I do think the town gets most of its income from speeding tickets. I know my neighbor has donated to the town a couple of times. My dad used to tease him about it all the time when he got his second ticket, IN THE same place.

SR 301 through Waldo is not to bad to ride, but there is a TON of traffic. The bike lane from Waldo to Hawthorne is in pretty good shape (both ways). Waldo road from Waldo to Gainesville is a nice ride, with not as much traffic.

How much did they want for it?

When I took the picture the guy that was selling it was wandering around the flea market someplace. The guy that had the booth next to it said he should be right back. So I wandered around for a bit came back and he was still not there. So I never did find out how much he wanted for it. The bike wasn't there today.

Thought I would add my odd looking bike find to this thread. Saw this bent in downtown Clearwater last week. Made mostly of wood. Check out the steering linkage.

That is really unique for sure and cool looking to boot. I follow Lance on twitter and a little while ago he posted a picture of a wood framed road bike... It looked really cool also.... If I can find the link i'll post it here...

As cool as it looks, I'm trying to imagine it actually steering. Did you determine whether it's rideable, or is it mostly yard art?

Which bike are you refering to the chopper in Waldo or the wooden bent in Clearwater?

I never actually got to talk to the guy that owned the bike that was at the flea market. He was wandering around the flea market when I was looking at the bike. Went back by the bike on the way out and the owner still was not there. The next weekend the bike wasn't there..
