Pacific Northwest - Bike rental in Bellevue + Routes???

I will be visiting Bellevue for a business trip and will have a couple mornings I can ride. I would like recommendations for shops where I could rent a road bike. I'm staying close to 8th and Bellevue Way (Bellevue Square). Suggestions welcome.

Also, any suggestions for routes?

Gregg's in Bellevue no longer does rentals (I think). The closest bike shop I can think of that does is the Montlake (possibly renamed Kirkland) bike shop in Kirkland which is a short bus ride away.

Google maps can give you point to point transit schedules, walking directions, and bus arrival times (very cool) The fare should be $1.75 or $2.00, depending on the time of day.

A lot of us on the eastside circle Mercer Island for a couple hour ride. From downtown Bellevue, the best route is to head towards the water and go past Chism Beach Park (monster hill). You'll intercept the I-90 bike path near Enatai Beach Park. The route around the island is obvious from the map.
