Yesterday I went on a nice ride. A LOT longer than I thought I could do. Again, last year a 5 mile ride was too much for me. Yesterday I went on a 40+ mile round-trip ride without stopping (except to make a phone call and to get hydrated.) I'm sure if anyone is from the Buffalo area they will know the route. I started at the Amherst Bike Path, down to Ellicott Creek Park, through to Niawanda Park along the waterfront and back. I was riding into the wind there, so it took about an hour. Back was about 45 minutes. I am planning on doing the ride again today, except I plan on going to the Grand Island Bridge this time (and taking some pictures).
Also picked up a cheap Bell bike rack from Wal Mart, a lock, and a light. Nice weather today; the ride will be grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! :thumb:
