I went to the Waldo flea market and was walking around in the non paved area. Its almost like hard pack with rocks sticking up. Yep stepped on a rock my ankle rolled and I fell right onto some of those sharp rocks sticking up. Felt like an idiot more than anything, with everybody asking are you ok. I messed the same ankle up when I was 16 and every once in awhile it just gets me. This is the first time in a couple of years though so I guess I was about due <sigh>. A few scratches on my left knee one of them kind of deep (not enough for stitches though). A cut on the palm of my right hand (that is bugging me while i try to type, and will most likely really bug me when I try to ride later)...
Wish me luck..... LOL ..... update later :P

Best Wishes on recovery .....
In the mean time, tell everyone you got it in a kung-fu match or something:)

I am not buying any of this story unless you produce pictures. Those flea markets can be rough places, hope it doesn't keep you off the bike..You should have been riding the bike instead of hanging out at the flea market anyway.

Kung-fu it is.... LOL ... Just got back from a ride, was a really good ride too. The only time my ankle hurt was when I was uncliping, the turning to the side really hurt. Couldn't really stand on the pedals much but if i stayed seated it wasn't bad at all. Now when I put my weight back on my ankle when I got home.... THAT HURT a lil bit ... But over all I think im good to go...
