This morning I got up to hit the neighborhood-wide garage sales. I always fantasize about a great bike deal, but never find one.
The first house I went to had a road bike in the driveway, and I figured t was some huffy or walmart bike,
but no. It's a Bianchi lugged-frame ten speed from, I think, the 1970s. Made in Italy, new tires and chain, crappy Schwinn seat.
TEN DOLLARS! I got it in my car fast. It's cleaning up beautifully, and rides very nicely.
If anyone has any input on the model or year, I'd appreciate it. Some idiot scraped the decals off, but maybe that's why it was ten bucks.
