Hi,

My neighbors who used to own a bike shop had two road bikes still in boxes stored in the basement for, i don't know, 20+ years? They wanted to find out how much their worth today then decide what to do with them.

I can't find a model # for the Miyata, other than a "1024" on the frame. It's in a box un-assembled. There's some visible stains on the handle, and the saddle and manuals are missing, but otherwise a "new" bike.

The Trident was in an unopened box until I just opened it this morning. Also un-assembled. The box says the model # is "Boys" "R628". But it's definitely a Men's size bike. I couldn't find any model # on the frame either.

Both are made in Japan. I attached a couple of pictures.

Any information is much appreciated.

TIA.

The Miayats model name is obscured by the packaging material but it is printed on the end of the box. Based on what I can see with that realy big 'M' and steel rims your looking at an early 80's, possible late seventies, entry level mixte.

$150-200.

Thank you, miamijim.

In fact, the Miyata was in a Kabuki box, not its own box. And I don't see a model # anywhere on the bike, other '1024' on the frame. That's what's obscured in the picture.

What about the mens Trident R628? I can't seem to find much info on it. Have you heard much about it be
