Alright here is the deal. I'm in Iraq right now riding a Trek 820 mtb, better than nothing. Atleast until I get back home in Oct for cross season. Now here is the big question! I have a 2007 Kona Jake, the only upgrade I have is Crankbrothers egger beaters. So this brings me too the real question, do i buy a new cross bike on a $3000.00 Budget, or do I upgrade my jake with a carbon fork, wheelset, new derailluers w/ crankset. Let me know your thoughts it would be greatly appreciated.
