The fly in the ointment is the broken shifter. If the shifter was repaired, it should sell for around $200, +/- $25. A very small (49cm) 412 sold last year in the Raleigh area for $150, in excellent condition. Considering how bike prices have gone up and a 62 cm frame is easier to sell than a small frame, I would think it would bring more.
As is, it would have to sell to someone who repairs them, like a bike flipper and they won't pay nearly that much. IMHO, maybe $100 to a flipper.

+1 As is, you are looking at a $100 bike. No one but a flipper is looking for something that needs work. If you are handy, I would repair the bike, get it road ready, and sell it in top notch shape. I have sold two Trek 412s this year, one for $175, the other for $195 (it was spotless). Both were in ready to ride condition.
