NEW YORK (AP) -- Metro-North Railroad has loosened its bicycle restrictions.
Riders still won't be able to take their bikes onto rush-hour trains headed for Manhattan from the northern suburbs.
But starting Monday, they can bring their bikes on most "reverse peak'' trains.
Those trains leave Grand Central Terminal in the mornings. They go back toward Manhattan in the afternoons and evenings.
Until now, bikes were banned from trains in both directions during rush hours.
