this is a message to milehibiker, sir im sorry if i seem new to this sport but i am just trying to learn as much as i can as quickly as i can before i make my big purchase.the colnago in question was brand new and built special for a doctor who said that money was no object, i should add that he stood about 5foot seven. the bike was fully titanium equiped with full campy record set up with speedplay pedals.yes it really was a 16.1 pound steel bike. i fell sorry for you, the hate in your heart is self destructive. with all that negative energy and bad karma bad things can only come to your future.i still wish you the best and hope that you will have nicer responses to the genuine people on this forun...........if any one would like to know what this is all about just read the response i got to my question (used steel) sincerely kevin, any coments on milehi? thanks in advance

Kevin,

I have an old 30lb pendulum scale in my garrage and my friends, as well as myself, always weigh our bikes just to compare. It's not easy to get a bike below 16lbs, and weight is always understated by the industry. I agree with you that people should repect each other though, in reference to that response. After all, to be friendly and help people, specially those with common interests, should always be a pleasure.

Anyway, my view is that you can never go wrong to buy Colnago equipment, it is regarded as the best by a lot of people.

The Colnago comments are your own. I have heard both sides. Good and bad on Colnago.

Was just looking at this olde thread. 16lbs isn't as tough as it used to be. What's the "new" 16 pound barrier? 14?
