Mountain - Plains - Salt Lake Bike Shops

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Does anybody know of a shop in the SLC area that will sell/build me a CAAD9 with SRAM Rival?
I went to Guthrie Bicycle and the best they could offer me was to sell me a full build CAAD9 and then put on Rival afterwards for $80+parts - leaving me to deal with the parts off the factory bike. I don't really feel like having to sell the take-offs myself.
This is where I got the idea from (first post):

Give Jonny at Bikers Edge in Kaysville a call. He's pretty easy to work with.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, he told me that he would not be able to help me much with swapping parts for minimal cost.

The only other shop I can think of is Revolution (http://www.revolutionutah.com/). Haven't been in there for a few years, but they seemed decent enough. Guthrie's might be your best bet, though.

Ya I would think Guthrie's would be best shot 2.

As an update, I found two shops that were willing to do the upgrade, Revolution in Sandy, and Infinite Cycles down in Riverton. I ended up going with Infinite Cycles as they were able to upgrade from the -6 and I'll be picking it up this weekend.
