This is a Novara Randonee touring bike- Tange #2 throughout, beautiful purple and silver paint job, a few minor rust spots, 18-speed indexed Shimano Deore drivetrain including Cantilever brakes, Suzue/Araya 27x1 1/4 36H wheelset, Sakae stem/bars, Shimano 600 break levers and Tektro interrupter levers. The frame has vertical dropouts, three water bottle mounts (one actual cage at the moment), fender eyelets front and rear (rear fender only at the moment), rack mounts front and rear (rear rack only at the moment) including low-rider braze-ons on the fork.

Any thoughts on the value, including all the bits listed here?

+1 $300, assuming rust is extremely minor.

The rust is all superficial.
Thanks for the opinions, everyone- I would have put it at $300 myself, so I'm glad to see I'm not crazy.

What's up with the vincentvancog post above? Can we see that go away?

Initially, I was going to recommend against the $300. The fit looked odd to me, like someone swapped in a tall stem at the last moment to coddle together a bike. It happens. It looked like a person who needed a 58cm or 60cm bike was trying to make a 56cm fit.

Dumb me. I looked twice. Rando bars. Low-mounted brake levers. The owner rides the drops, I'd bet, and touring in the drops is done a little higher up, per my touring friends. Plus, more clearance for front bags and panniers.

Nice bike. If I wanted a tourer, and I couldn't break into Machin Shin's house and take his Miyata, I'd go $300 on that, load it up and ride.
