Sorry for the over posing guys, but in my relentless pursuit to find something worthy of me actually owning and not flipping, I think I have found the perfect candidate. I am so excited and antsy I can hardly wait to hear back via e-mail from him. I hope I was the first person to respond to the ad! Is this a good deal for a bike like this? Also, I read on some older posts on here that this was among the best and nicest Univega has in their lineup. Is this true? Oh my wow, for some reason, this bike is just making me outrageously giddy haha. Any information on this would be well appreciated.
Thanks,

It seems like a good value to me. It has nice components and a good frame. If the seller overhauled the entire bike, and i'm talking bottom bracket, hubs and such than its a great value in a very hot market.
The biggest question is, does it fit you?? 60cm frame with a 34in standover is probably good for someone 6' and up.

Yes, I am 6'2 with a 34" inseam. I would say I have a pretty normal torso and my arms aren't gangly or anything haha. So I think it will fit me very well. I rode a 63.5 cm World Sport for a while and it was a good fit. I really hope this guy responds to my 3 e-mails lol. I sent him to last night 10 minutes after he posted and 1 this morning at 9 am when I woke up. I would hope I am first in line....let's cross our fingers.

It's not a barn-burner of a deal, but that bike at that price here in PDX won't last long. If you want it, jump on it before somebody else does.

Man this guy want tough to work with. I had to PayPal him the funds today for him to hold it for me until Friday when I will pick it up. I actually ended up getting a different one than the one I linked. Here is the other one. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/1151844790.html
Its the same bike, but he said the quality of the paint was a little nicer and stuff. I had him swap the deats out however. My plans for it are white bar tape, white brake and shift housing and probably new tires and more than likely a Brooks seat down the road. I plan on keeping the current component setup unless they are old and start breaking or something. What would be a nice set of tires for her? I like he blue and black Conti's but I dont know if I just want all black instead. I will take some pictures after I pick her up on Friday. I cant wait to start going on rides!
