Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - cluttered replies

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well, they say there are no stupid questions but...
How do I reply to a post without either the 'ads by google' or a copy of the post in question appearing above my reply? It it reads much better without all this clutter.
Thanks. DanO

If you become a donating member you can have these removed. Please remember that these forums are free, and have to be paid for somehow.

It all depends who is reading your reply. Donating members won't see the ads, but other members will.

When you click on the red [reply] link in a post, you will quote that message, you can remove the quotes by deleting the contents of the reply box, or editing the message as I have done in this post. I think most users use the "quick reply" option at the bottom of each page, this will not quote any of the above posts.
