NIMBY opposition has blocked new bike lane construction for years, but that may be ending. 56 new bicycle projects have been proposed. You can encourage the SFMTA to proceed with these projects.

More the better, a lane on every street even symbolic to balance the one sided, car only minded.

If you want more bike lanes, then read the article and start writing letters and/or going to meetings. The city is receptive, if the public shows strong interest.
