If anyone in the local area is interested we have a group of guys who do a crit practice ride in a local Memorial Garden Park (cemetery). We have been riding on Thursdays but will be riding today (Wednesday). We usually get around 5 to 8 riders who work together and ride around the .86 mile course. Last weeks average speed was 20.8 mph for the 1 hr ride. It's not too fast, but fast enough to practice pedaling into, through and out of corners. The course is flat, has sharp turns, sweeping turns and even a 180 degree trun around the entrance island. Riders who are spent can take a lap off and riders wanting something more can go off the front and lap the field.
We meet at 6:00 in the parking lot across RT 303 (Center RD) from the Riverstone Taverne in downtown Valley City. We leave from there and proceed the Memorial Park which is about 3/4 of a mile away.
