A few weeks ago I posted "my first carbon fork": (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=52230&highlight=carbon).

I put a Profile-Design BSC carbon fork (steel steerer) on my 531 bike, and I've gotta say, I really miss the springy feel of the old steel forks.

I can't use the old forks because the steerer is too short, and my back was killing me bending over so much, and I don't really wanna put a huge steel fork with a long steerer in there because it will probably weigh 1kg (I'm a closet weight weanie).

What can I do?

Are there any springy carbon forks out there?

The existing steerer can be extended with an extender combined with threadless stem. You can then use your existing steel fork (or any other fork for that matter).

You can get stems with added rise.
Stronglight A9 headset is available with an extended collar to support a stem.
